Dislikes
- Faculty the way they teach and talk to you and have they real knowledge about the real life technology and other things
- And the second thing is all about the college the college is not good it's linked with a school one side is the college and the other side is the school and guess what the school is way bigger and good looking than the college the ground one common for college students and school students
- Exam there are a total 3 exams that happen per semester 2 which is the to test knowledge and where you stand in what you know about the subject then there is a final exam of the semester but the only exam that makes some impact is the final rest of are waste of time and don't impact anything
Remarks :
So the is no test and no cut off which you need to take the admission in this college it's just a simple process to take addmission the factors that i take addmission in this college is I don't get any sets in government college and for me there is nathing in the college which attractive you to take addmission
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason I choose bca is I really love computers and have a passion for coding i really suggest everyone only be admitted to bca if they love computers and love coding the journey becomes easy and I also have an information technology course in 12th which is an vocational course which really helps in my college subject. And if I say about teachers in the college I think there a 50 % of teachers who are excellent and have quite good knowledge and there are 50% of teachers who don't have any knowledge and the real life they only have knowledge of what books and nothing else they just teach you what in the book and nothing else but the 50 % good teacher they not only teach about the subject but they also teach about the real-life thing
Internships Opportunities :
So in my case, I don't get any type of placement opportunities opportunities from the college side just because the companies that come to the college enter selling internships or some kind of course I get my internship by self apply and my own skills and connection
Placement Experience :
So, there are some placement opportunities that they promised during the admission. And yes, some companies come for placement like call centers, credit card salesman, beauty parlors, and some IT companies which either sell you an internship or sell you some kind of course. Keep in mind the college board, which tells you the highest package a person got from this college, is not using the college help. It's by self-study and self, but just because they are part of the college, the name was there.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So my time the free was around 25000 to 23000 thousand per semester meaning maybe you have to pay 25000 for 2 semesters and for the rest of the semester free should be 23000 per semester then there is an examination fee which is around 1000 to 1500 per semester final and other expenses like farewell and some non sense this free and there was also a dree fee this you have to pay which the college provide you the clothes, notebook, a College bag and other stuff but keep in mind the dree means uniform is ready you have to then pay outside to tailor the dree according to your body and last the supply free wass 1000 per subject. Campus Life :
There is a college fast that happens every year. In my time at the college, there was also a fest where they invited a Punjabi actor (this is a big Punjabi superstar who is just a side character in the movie), which I think was a good experience. And about the library, it's quite nice with different types of books, but there are all the books you need related to your course and nothing else, maybe some novels or others but the options are not that many. And there is a thing called different types of clubs in our college which you can choose to join but keep in mind after you choose to join the club the best thing is happens is you don't have to do anything during college life no activity no update nothing you just have a tag that you are a member of a club that all
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel or any type of hostel server as far as I know but i think there is some service you have to ask someone but in my college life I don't see anyone using the college hostel don't know the reason.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
