Likes
- The college campus is really big and spacious. The compound is clean amd hygenic. The college building is really big . We can play many games like badminton, football, basketball, cricket in the playground.
- The teachers in the college are highly qualified and teach really well. They are very friendly and free in nature. We can clear all our doubts soo easily with them without any hesitation.
Dislikes
- I dislike almost nothing about my college . Everything is good in comparison to other colleges near to us. There is no such thing to complain about the college.
- The only thing that i find bit problematic in the college is its auditorium . Its not spacious so that all the students can sit there and see the programs there .
Remarks :
The collge b borooah is very good at academics. Its has gained name and fame all over assam due to its performance. The teaching staff is good, the college campus is good and big and its a very famous college and also at a very affordable fees. Also the course i selected to study has a very good teachers there.
Course Curriculum Overview :
From the very early age i had an intrest to study geography and build my career by studying geography. The teaching faculty is highly qualified and the teaching method they use is really good and understandable. I really love the teachers as they are so much free and friendly. I want to score a very good marks in the course and make my dreams come true.

Some students have secured internships, but others have found it difficult to find opportunities Students can work with faculty on research projects Campus recruitment. B. Borooah College in Guwahati, India offers opportunities for students to learn and grow, including internship, research projects and campus recruitment drives.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The per semester fees of our college is rs 7180. Every semester we need to pay it. No other fees is taken by the students. Also there is free admission for the students whose economic condition is not good. Also scholarships are also given to the students whose perfomance is good and have bad economic condition. Seats reservation is also there for students from caste like sc and st.
Campus Life :
The campus life is very good. Our college has a very big campus where we can play many outdoor sports. The college library is very big and all types of book are there including novels , journals. There is ac fitted in the library and also there is space to sit and study in the library.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel of our college is very good. Its very hygenic and the food quality of the hostel is very excellent . The fees is also very low which is affordable by all the students. The hostel is very strict. No one is allowed to break the rules and regulations of the hostel. All the students should study during the study hours. No one can disturb other stidents .

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

Dream Campus, Not-So-Dream Jobs

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
