Remarks :
Good thing is that it is a central university. And bad thing in my course would be that it doesn't have icar accridation. For admission, university may conduct its own exam or through CUET. there is no PI for bachelor or master course but have Pi for PhD. Preparation be done by studying the general subject matter.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This university have good infrastructure for agriculture. Faculty are well qualified with NET qualification and PhD. Exam are conducted semester wise with mid term exams too. Difficulty is moderate.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees is paid yearly, for us it was rs4380 in first year with rs1000 security fee and in 2nd year it was around rs3000. This fee includes all the fees like tuition, lab, library etc, but form fee is 100rs and application fee may differ, these charges are increasing for every new admission, there is no fee difference for other category students. 65% is needed for admission.
Campus Life :
Fests are organized all year round mostly in months when no exams are scheduled. And every festival is celebrated here and national conference happens once a year in the auditorium. There is a central library that contains many books and ebooks, and every department has its own Library with subject related book for students. Sports clubs and many sports competition happens here, for football, basketball, criket, baseball, etc. Official website of HNBGU is a source of all the notification. And many social media pages are run by students of every department.
Hostel Facilities :
I didn't get allotment of hostel, but I have some friends there, so I have seen it, the food quality is low to midium, but boys have options to select any mess options available in or out side the campus. But girls don't have this privilege they have to eat in the hostel mess. Registration for hostel is done on the day of reporting. Hostel are very affordable around Rs 3-4000 a year. There are many room and pg available all around the campus.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
