Indian Institute of technology Bombay is one of prestigious college in India, I wrote JEE ADV to get qualified for admission. There are a lot of coaching centers for this exam and also u can prepare on your own if u can.
I like to explore the working, principles of aircraft like airplanes, rockets, missiles, etc since childhood, so I choosen this course. The faculty in IITB are highly qualified and are fully experienced. We will have monthly exams, half sem exams and end sem exams.
No, I didn't opt for any internships yet, there less availability of internships in my course, we mostly do research with some professor during internship time. Well there are some companies which take students for internship like HBL and small companies.
I don't know much about placemwnt thing because I am a first year student. Some of visiting recruit er for IITB of my course are HAL, ISRO, BEL, DRDO, TASL, Airbus India, etc. Highest package is 1crore per annum and average is 24 lakh per annum. 75% of people get placements in IITB. I don't have any plans after completing my course, I mostly opt for higher studies.
There are two semester in Indian Institute of technology Bombay, fees for each semester is 1,35,000 rupees it consists of hostel fees, but there is a scholarship for sc quota, they need to pay 49000 per sem. There are additional scholarships too.
Most of the events are conducted on December month and some during the semester. Some of the events are MOOD INDIGO, Tech fest, Salsa night, etc. There are huge number of books in our library. We have amazing grounds and sports equipment with best coaches. We have some communities that are run by students itself like XLR8, DevCom, etc.
The food tase and quality is not bad, we can manage with it, and our dining are is very hygine. Registration process is quite easy and affordable. But from next year our hostel will be small, that's a problem for us.












I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
