- the best thing that I like about my college is the facility that helps the students and the tea of kulhad chai.
- in last 3 years are college have developed very much are college have built two more buildings and three more hostels for a better experience life for students
Dislikes
- sometime I dislike the food of canteen and have to eat food from other outlets.
- sometime I didn't like the college life as in free lectures I don't know what to do so I go to library and study
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college was as it was near to my house and was giving me a good course in good price which of my family could afford. I did not face any group discussions interviews or written test for admission at it was and direct admission based on my 12th percentage. but there is an scholarship exam known as CGC Josh exam which is good for taking scholarship if you perform well in the exam. are campus is good and well maintain there are many workers who are maintaining the campus greenery and cleanliness there are guards for the security of college we have a well and hygienic canteen and different outlets of fast food in our college. my overall experience from last 3 year in this college is very good and in I am enjoying my studies
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen this course because in electronic and communication engineering there are very different companies which are having electrons and communication engineering students from last 2 to 3 years electronics and communication engineering have grown very much and there are many companies which higher electronics and communication engineering students. the electronics and communication Singh engineering students are both applicable in electronics field and computer application field. our teachers are IIT degree holders and some of our teachers have also done PHD so they are very intelligent and sharp minded. in every semester two terms exams are taken named as MSt 1 and MST 2. in this exams the difficulty level is medium to hard so that the student can work for his final exam make it clear and get a good SGPA. our teacher take good care of us and help each and every student to overcome his fear and bring himself more confidently.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done internship in Excellent technology. it was an 45 days internship where we learn about python and its libraries. the project that we did there was face detection and age detection using python. basically are project detects the face and provides the accurate age of the person according to his face.
Placement Experience :
the eligibility criteria for placement is used to be 60% above in 10th and 12th class recently we have met Ericsson which was on great session and they have planed and amazing course for us which will help us to get a good placement in Ericsson. the highest package in our course is 27 lpa and the average package in our college is 8LPA
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
there is an academic fees of rupees 95000 every year and there is no registration fees, no caution fees, no lab fees, is in our college everything is included in academic fees. I am from SC category but there is no quota for any of the cast. all my batchmate have the same fees that I am paying but some of them have cleared scholarship exams and get discount according to there percentage and they have to maintain the CGPA in every semester to maintain their scholarship.
Campus Life :
The Last first was conducted in August 2024 where and Russian DJ and sunburn DJ gave and wonderful performance and we enjoyed it very much and there was an another fest on March 2024 where and famous singer Darshan Rava gave an wonderful performance. in our college book and journals available in library mostly there are subject related books and sum of journals. in the classroom the amenities we have our socket near every bench and an smart board for smarter class. every student has his ERP login where he or she can see their attendance, assignments and notes which are provided by the teachers. our college have different types of club like drama club, dance club, sports club, management club, and NSS for environment safety. in sports are college have many medals. Maine students are engaged in extracurriculum activities in college.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
