I saw an ad for it and just applied for it because the process was just an entrance exam. No group discussion for me but there was some counselling for people who didn't get placed. Not sure about cut off but pretty sure it was as low as 10000 because I had students in mt class with 10000 rank and mine was around 2000 as I applied in general quota and was also from another state so couldn't get reservation. CET exam was pretty easy , it's just 10th and 12th grade maths.
Cheap course and easily affordable. Qualifications of some faculty was good but there were also people who didn't know basic things like how to use an application required for the subject etc. some were fresh out of college and had no idea how to teach. But the ones that were good were really good at teaching. Two exams per term are given. So midterm and end term. The difficulty level wasn't that bad if you studied. You could easily get 75 to 80 percentile as a good student. Extraordinary grades are around 85 but it's hard and only 2 people in class achieve them most times.
The architecture branch is a 3 year course. Each year has 2 semesters making it 6 semesters. When i studied, I paid 7500 to 8500 per semester. It increased by a few hundreds every semester and it was all already pre mentioned. This is just the tuition fees. No registration fees, development of lab fees. But no materials required are provided, you have to spend your own money and it will cost you like 6000 per year. My batchmates had the same fees as me no matter the category, it's equal. Multiple scholarships were available to pay your fees but it was mostly only for SC and ST so I'm not sure about it.
Nothing special is conducted unless you're from the main campus. They celebrate dates like independence day, republic day and any other government holidays. No other fests. Only books related to studies are available in the library , no other reading books for activities. No sports happens because there's not enough park space in the college. So don't expect much. You aren't allowed to play most times because you study the whole day and it's basically like a school schedule. There are some clubs like dancing or singing and they sometimes practice and perform. But the materials are not provided by the college.
There is no hostel in the campus and it says that input should be more than 200 so I'm just typing until I reach 200. The other colleges bad hostels though like the main campus dwarka but smaller colleges don't have them.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
