- The best is the affordability that like in this college according to the courses the providing pretty much infrastructure for the students to showcase their self as a BTech CSE . The rules are pretty much exploitable to focus on ourself regarding careers.
- Campus life is above average. They Did not force students for restrictions in this college. They will say that 75% attendance is mandatory but you can even a for only 50% of attendance to sit in the final exams. There is not damage pressure from the college for academic study. Even they also get your parents number but they will not call last there is an any emergency so it's on you that how you will want to providing formation about a college and your performance of college to your parents.
Dislikes
- The worst is placements. Students just can't rely on the college for placements. The best solution for this is to be ready for a placements outside the college. Specially lower courses like BCA and BCom are forced to join call centres companies and sales companies which are outside of their career. College blackmails students that if they do not apply for those seats and they will not get their degrees.
- Faculty are also not good in this college. But when you will visit this college for the first time the faculties will treat you as the best but once you will get admission on this college they will not take care of you. The rules and regulations are exploited by everyone. There is not that much strictness on some serious issues like drug dealings harassments etc.
Remarks :
The main reason was affordability. Because at this rate not any other college provide me this course. There is not any heavy process to get the admission in this college but you can also decrease your fees by giving a simple test by asking the faculties to providing the exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose b.tech CSE because of my parents. There is not sort of interest of mine for this course. This subjects from the scores are have a dependent on past syllabus which are not that much important in pursuing computer science career so the most beneficial work to do will be to improve your technical skills and the skills required to pursue a particular career side by side. This college provides you hackathons and technical events for the CSE students to improve themselves. But this heavily rely on the students that how they wanna proceed their career they have to do it by theirself without depending on the college . The faculties overall mediocre at some sort of points they help but it's better to neglect and avoid any situations that can Ruin your relations with the college . The teaching method is very old class there is not any subjects that would help in future to grow in the career also this syllabus are very outdated. Practicals are not that much efficients.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted out for any internship yet so I don't have any information regarding this. But there is one government internship named as AICTE which is not that much important but added in your resume would be beneficial.
Placement Experience :
Don't expect any placement from this college. Only the downgraded companies aur sales companies or call centres comes here to get higher mass of students in very low wages. The best way is to prepare yourself outside the college to get the best results. Don't reply on the College placements. NOC is also very concernable in this college. Make prepare yourself which career you want to choose and try to get job outside colleges. Specially for lower courses the situations are much bad like BCA or b.com etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1. Academic fees per sem at 2022 was 39000rs and increasing in every batch 2. My transport fess is 10000rs from jamalpur ludhiana to college .It also increase by 500 every year. 3. Exam fess per sem is 2500rs and supply fees is also 2500rs 4. Robomania fees per year is 500 rs As compulsory.
Campus Life :
The most important fest occurring in a year is Robomania which cost 500 rupees to each students . The robo mania fest occurs for continuously 4 days. There is only one library in the whole college which have a seating arrangements for aproximately 150 students but the library is much better space for those who don't want any disturbance during their study or important work. The classrooms are also clean. The cleaners are also very good to maintain hygiene in the whole college. There is not any special social groups or clubs for this college but for CSE students technical events are held time to time. Once in a year there are trials for every sports like basketball, badminton , football ,cosco cricket and leather cricket too. The grounds are not that much bigger but manageable for playing sports. Once in a year there is also sports day in which students participate in different sports to win medals .Both outdoor and indoor games are played in this day.
Hostel Facilities :
Even though I have not opted a hostel but I have lived in the hostel room for a week because of my practice for roboMania fest . Hostel facilities are not that much pretty good. The messfoods are also not good . Only fans and bulbs are in the rooms. But the hostel price are pretty much affordable. The most important cache for the hostlers is that after becoming seniors they have to vacant there hostels to give space to the new juniors and they have to shift there hostels to another branch that is near Khanna or by living outside in pgs.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
