- Campus location, its situated in himachal's hamirpur so you can visit himachal in 4 years
- Campus life is good, as it has cool environment, even in summers

- Faculty, i seriously don't like faculty that much
- Night life, the night life of college is zero
Remarks :
I am from hamirpur and this college is in my my hometown, so i chose this college. To get this college i had to compete with other aspirants in IIT JEE exam.Luckily i got one of the Nit that too in my hometown.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is good except 1st year courses which are same for each branch students. They can be changed as per me. In Academics, its really hard to survive in circuital branches, others are still good.Faculties are good but they could be better.
Internships Opportunities :
Not yet. College provides internships based on cgpa. There is compulsion to do a decent internship in third year.Most of the students pursue it in summer vacations. College also provides internships but very less.
Placement Experience :
Placements are being offered. There was a decay in placements graph post covid but its increasing again. At this time , only mechanical department has a record of 100 percent placent. Other departments are comparatively less able.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee structure varies for quota students Generally the fees is 75000 per semester, which means 140000 per annum. The fees is higher for a government college.It can be minimized.Quota students get benefit but general students suffer for fees. Yeah, fees can be reduced on basis of family income also.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is good. The campus is beautiful and also weather is very good with a good quality of air. It feels like you are studying and living in hills. Social life of college is good but there is no night life at all. You need to be in your respective hostels by 9:30 PM. There are a lot of clubs and societies. You can check on instagram, technicalactivitiesnith for technical clubs and culturalactivitiesnith for cultural clubs.Also there are some independent socities like ISTE, SPEC, E-cell.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes i live in a hostel. Hostel mess are goid, but food quality is not that good. You will be missing home food for sure.Infrastructure of hostels is good but some old hostels need to improve. To apply for hostels we need to pay fees online and then we get a room according to priority list based on cgpa

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

I choose ba as I needed a bachelors degree to pursue llb . All the faculty members are highly qualified and well educated and every teacher has their own teaching method. The exams are conducted annually for BA which is not very difficult

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs

The placement opportunities are given by institute. There is a placement committee. A few visited recruiters are ICICI,HDFC, DE Shaw, Deloitte, EY, etc. the average package of IIM sirmaur ranges around 14-15 LPA. All students get placed and is supported by institute.
