the factors i choose this college is beacuse it is away from city traffic a well surrounded campus with greenery from all side that can help student mindset also college reputation inn12 years attracts me toward cgc jhanjeri
Course Curriculum Overview :
my course is btech cybersecurity as i m a first year student so they dont tell in deep about cyber but in upcoming days they will teach about those thing teacher teachoing skills was very decent easy to understandable in class through the ppt format
Internships Opportunities :
no i dont think so that our cgc provided interenship by in campus internship it all based over the students that they opt internship on their own skills. but here some international are here for internship programs
Placement Experience :
placement is all in the hand of student that how the perform in placement day or in other test likely we go to chandigarh university for the placement and more than fiffty percent got placement by the college
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
my yearly fees is about 133000 and i dont get any type of scholarship but my freinds get scholarship it can range between 1000-30000 my freinds got 30000 scholarship per semester he only 73000 per year.
Campus Life :
every year our college conduct 5-6 big fest but also some small events likely 4-5 every month the biggest event of cgc jhanjeri was on december name saviskar 2024 and recently february month event was sahityam 2025 our college has many type of social groups and clubbs and even website for each and every student
Hostel Facilities :
yes i opted hostel new hostels were also building at cgc jhanjeri and mess food is very decent and their gym was also very nice with all basic nesscities our hostel provide us. and also security was provided us and 24*7 survillance under cctv

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
