- The college faculty is quite knowledge and qualified.
- The college organisationes every pharma day events as well as awareness programmes
Dislikes
- The campus life is the worst. You can't roam around the campus after college hour
- The infrastructure needs reformation. The classrooms are very uncomfortable for a 1 hour long class
Remarks :
The college had higher Gpat rankers than any other college in the state It's also NBA accredited The college has a huge library and also has fully supplied laboratories. The lecturers and the professors are highly qualified and has great knowledge But the classrooms are a bit less interactive and the classrooms are not even comfortable to go on 1 hour long class. The ACs never work There's no smart board There's frequent power cut The admission process is quite simple. You'll just have to get a good rank in the OJEE examination conducted by the government and yhe rankers within 2000 rank can get into the college
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason for choosing this course was the increasing demand for pharmacy in the country. The urge to gain knowledge about the development of drugs and their dynamics in the body The faculty has a minimum of M pharm degree and most of them have even completed PHD . Thee teaching usually is carried out in the projector There are 8 semesters and each semester has 2 internal exams and a practical exam The semester happens every 6 months and are not that difficult but also not easy An average student can secure 8 cgpa
Internships Opportunities :
We did our intership in the MKCG medical College and hospital. For 1 month we were placed in 4 different departments each for 8 days There was no stipend rather we paid 2000 for the internship. We were taught how to handle patients and the how to dispense medicines Learn when and how to take medicines
Placement Experience :
The campus usually comes around 7th semester and selects almost 70% studentz Companies like cipla, wipro, dr. Reddy's lab, pulses etc. visits every year There's a written and a interview round The salary ranges from 3.5 lpa to 10 lpa Our plans would be to apply for industrial jobs after getting a degree
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tution fees for our batch was 89000 but it increases every year and now it's almost 1.5 lakh. The registration fees for every semester is 3000 rupees And you can pay the tution fees in two instalments The TFW quota students pays zero tution fees Where the management quota students pays a larger amount of admission fees The college doesn't provide any scholarship of it's own but you can definitely apply the government scholarships
Campus Life :
The life at the campus is quite boaring There's no game room No cafeteria Basically nothing for a group meet It has a canteen which serves worst food and is only opened during lunch and dinner The college only hosts 1 fest every year i.e ELIXIR which happens around April or May And an annual sports meet The library has a huge collection of books of different authors and of every possible subject The classroom isn't that well equipped. It has a green board and White board but no smart board. The projector runs on the wall The AC is just for show Fans barely meets the needs
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel mess is the worst It can cause food poisoning We've found cigerette in the food and is very unhealthy The message is very unhygienic Sometimes they use tap water for salad and stuff The menu changes every month but the quality of the food still remains same The hostel costs 23000 per month and you're compulsory for eat at the mess of you reside at the hostel. The canteen fees is 28000 which also increases by 2000 per year. We rented a room near saradhabali and I would say the locality is quite safe.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
