Nitw as a first year
Likes
- Time square. Food Street. Library. Auditorium.
- Labs are very good( the new ones). The reputation and placements.
Dislikes
- Animal health conditions. Favouritism in clubs.
- Some professors who are not very student friendly.
Remarks :
Based on my jee rank I asked a lot of people for suggestions and I also live in Hyderabad so nitw was definitely one of the college's I was considering. I chose this course as I can go into software or hardware or even management.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is updated every few years. The curriculum doesn't really matter as mostly you'll be learning on your own despite having highly qualified teachers who knows a lot. They are kinda bad at explaining and students arent interested enough to approach them and know more.
Internships Opportunities :
I'm just 1st year so I don't really know a lot about internships but based on what we got to know from seniors you get a lot of internships it's harder for hardware jobs but you can still try offf campus.
Placement Experience :
Average pakages In this college are much better than other colleges. Bring one of the premiere institutes in india this college had very good placements. You can even get greater than last year's highest (88lakhs) of youre good enough.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
You get 100% tution fee retention if your annual income is under 1 lakh and 66% if your annual income is between 1-5 lakh. Pwd students have full retention. But you have additional fees like hostel mess and and maintainance. Many scholarship schemes are available based on family background and merit in jee.
Campus Life :
Many clubs but it's hard to get into them without skill. You can't just be in a club if you're not interested in it. You have to world for it. Gyms and all don't have really good equipment but you can work with them. Classroom will hopefully get better.
Hostel Facilities :
Food is good at the start. But you get used to it and it begins to feel boring. Hostel had lan. 2 members per room. Not very spacious but you can customise it into how you like. Some peoples rooms are reallygood. Thanks to their efforts in making it that way.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT
Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.
College life beyond classroom

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
A great place to meet like minded people

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. My experience at NIAT
Placement Experience :
NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.
A Complete Review of JNTUH: Opportunities and Campus Life
Placement Experience :
Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
