Remarks :

I chose NITW as this is the best engineering college. The placements are very wonderful in college. Also the college is very near to hyderabad which is technological hub.The admission to nit warangal is through josaa. The exam for getting to nitw is JEE MAINS for BTEch and GATE for Mtech. There are total 5 rounds in josaa counselling and also 2 special rounds namely csab for getting into nit warangal

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose CSE because NIT Warangal is known for its computer science and engineering branch. The faculty of CSE department is very experienced and posses immense knowledge. There are three types of exams namely minors, mid and end sem exams. The exams can be sometimes difficult, sometimes easy.Minors is of 15 marks, mid is of 30 marks and end semester exams is of 40 marks.

Internships Opportunities :

No,I have not opted for any internship yet. I hope to do so in the future. The internships can be achieved from third year. Many companies visit campus and provide internships to talented students. Also, they provide pre placement offers to talented students.

Placement Experience :

NITW is known for its placements. The placements are very good here. The companies visiting are google, facebook, amazon, flipkart, deloite. The highest package of college is 88LPA.The average package for cse branch is around 30LPA.Many students get placements btu some opt for higher studies and do not sit for placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fees is 1,25,000 per year. Also, students get tuition fee reemission.Students having income between 1 lakh and 5 lakh from all sources gets 2/3rd reemission of tuition fees.Students having income less than 1 lakh form all sources gets full tuition fee reemission.Students belonging to sc,st category no need to pay tuition fees. They need to pay only hostel and mess fee.The hostel fee is 16,000 and mess fee is 12,000.The caution fee is 2000.The registration fees is 5000.The development fees is 3000.Students also get merit based scholarship according to their cgpa.

Campus Life :

The campus life is very exciting and beautiful .There are many famous place inside campus. There are two fests namely technozion which is technological fest and springspree which is south india's largest cultural fest. There is a vast library which consists of huge number of books. There are also many sports facilities. Studnets enjoy playing kabaddi, cricket, tennis ,football. There are various clubs in colleges like dance and dramatics club, film and music club, youth red croos club, software development club and they conduct many events in college.

Hostel Facilities :

I have opted for hostel inside campus .The 1.8k hostel which is asias largest hostel .The mess quality is good but can be improved. The menu should be diversified such that it can satisfy both north and south indian students. The localty is hanumakonda which is very best for renting a romm or pg.

A glimpse of MRUH

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.

Not so great

Placement Experience :

Placements and Internships The placement opportunities at my college are average, with a limited number of companies visiting the campus every year. Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

Where learning meets industry

Placement Experience :

One good thing is that placements aren't treated as something that only matters in the final year. From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. There are resume reviews, mock interviews, and career sessions that help us understand what companies expect. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

A satisfying learning journey

Placement Experience :

Best part is the college doesn't wait until the final year to talk about careers. We get opportunities to work on projects, improve our coding, build resumes, and attend interview preparation sessions from the early semesters. Internship opportunities are shared regularly and the college guides students through the application process. This has helped me gain practical experience and understand what companies expect.

Learning, growth and great memories

Placement Experience :

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT

Placement Experience :

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

College life beyond classroom

Placement Experience :

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

A great place to meet like minded people

Course Curriculum Overview :

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
