My experience of my college
Likes
- I like every block of my college cause it offers a very beautiful view of our mountains for me it provides peaceful and a beautiful environment for me to work.
- I like open air theatre oat because it is a best place to relax and to study alone.
Dislikes
- Our college is village where there are less resources available.
- To buy stationeries we have to travel to nagrota cause there are only three or four stationeries around our college which does not have enough supplies
Remarks :
The is located in a peaceful area away from the main bazaar. And offers a quiet environment for studying. The college is surrounded by the hills .and also offer a view of dhauladhar mountain range on the north side.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose b arch. Because I had a great interest in designing spaces .the teachers here are well educated and doesnot interfere in your personal life as we all want their method of teaching is also very good .they plan amazing trips for us in every semester for the case studies we all needas an architecture student.each semester contains 2 mid sem. Exams and 1 end sem. Exams
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any internship yet are internship starts in the 7th semester that is starting of the fourth year. The teachers here in the college helps us a lot in finding internships and more other opportunities like architecture competitions all over India.
Placement Experience :
College provides only few placements as it is a new college but it is growing day by day and surely will provide more opportunities in the future. It doesnot offer placements for b.arch. students. Otherwise the college is good education wise.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college provide 50%concession for the female students. The yearly fee is about 30000 +5000 exam fees 2500 per semester.the complete fees for my course is about 1,30,000. And for boys the yearly fees would be approx. 50-60000
Campus Life :
The campus here is very beautiful offering a peaceful environment for studying also offers the view of dhauladhar mountain range contains an oat open air theatre for relaxing or studying. The campus also have two playgrounds, one canteen and small booth for refreshments. The campus provides a peaceful and beautiful environment .there are many clubs and activities and events
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel was quite good and also very cheap. It provide Mani facilities like geyser Wi-Fi playground and a common area and mess.. each floor contains washroom. Overall the hostel is very affordable but the quality of food in the mess varies sometime it's good sometime it's bad. Overall my experience is very good in the hostel. The hostel is available for 2 years for girls and for 1 year for boys.

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
