Actually in our area this the only college we had which has b.a courses and we had another college but there's only commerce and science so unable to join and we had another college s in our main district but too far from my house so i chose this college and also my mom read in this college so had no other choice cuz we're poor and that's why I chose this and no we didn't had any group discussion before coming here but most of people said that yeah this college is good we should take admission there somehow it happened and idk the cutoff marks maybe if there are a lot of students the cutoff increases and tbh I got a seat easily so i don't really know about thar
I had no choice I was interested in different course but this college doesn't had that course so had to choose English but it is not like i wasn't interested I was interested in english but not Fully if I had chance i would have chose that one And overall the faculty is really good off our department not sure about other departments but yeah our professors are really amazing in our department we have audiovisual and for only our department we have inverter so we don't have any problem and overall everything is really nice
I haven't applied for any internship cuz our hod says that we don't really need any of that ryt now after completing the degree we will get our secure job anyways so why do we need it but he also said that if you really wanna hav any experience you can do it but don't let that affect your studies
Our hod told us that if we really need a job he will select a college for us as per our interest and he can guarantee that we will get a job eventually after 2 year but we have to do a lot of hardwork for that . And yeah i believe that if we don't do hardwork how will we get jobs and i like the thing that our hod is trying to help us out and its not like he is just saying but it is true whoever worked hard after he assigned them to college they got a secure job .
I have paid almost 6000 per year to be exact 5540 rs and the final exam registration fees is different it is 1500-1600 or Lil bit more and those who have free admission they don't have to pay 5-6 thousand yearly it is free but paper works needed and our exam registration fee is different we pay 1500-1600 and maybe geography students needs to pay more i don't really know about that cuz I'm English student and clg provides a scholarship called nsp we get 6000 every year it's feels like they're giving our money back that's all
Campus is okay !! And it is kinda pretty greenery we have lot of trees there and they made some concrete bench to seat if we have no class and no classroom left we sat there and our campus is kinda clean lots of dustbin are there so it is clean and no student throw any kind of paper too There are a lot of other activities too there are lots of sports but the students are lazy to participate in them so the teachers are less too And we have ncc and nss too they took proper class of them and ncc is more disciplined then nss but it's not like nss is not disciplined and lots of ncc and nss students are selected in many other out of assam camp too
Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .
While the college does not guarantee 100% corporate placement, it facilitates campus interviews and internships. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Tata have rec recruited or offered internships to a percentage of students.
There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.
There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA
The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low. That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled. And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.
I forever had a dream of starting a business by myself as I come from a business background I also wanted to help my father in his work , I wanted to grow my father's business by just putting technical efforts so this is the reason I chooses commerce Teachers are of very friendly nature and helpful If you attend regular college you won't face any difficulties in exams
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
You must get more than 7 CGPA to sit in the placement. TCS, L&T, Jacobs etc and the highest package is around 21 LPA around 15% are placed every year.Iwill be doing PHd in IIT after getting my degree.
I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
