The infrastructure, engineeing labs and fascilities and holistic approach of education of this college made me choose this college. There is no such group disccussion or test , but you need to have minimum amount of marks in either JEE, CET or PERACET.
I choose this course in order to advance my engineering and problem solving skills through top notch facilites provided by the college. My faculties are either M.Tech or Phd qualifiied in their respective fields. Each subject is taught very properly and in detailed manner.
My college has a AIC which has a defence company where I got the internship for 1 year and I am currently working as UAV DESIGN intern. It is pretty helpful for students like me to gain industral knowledge inside the campus due to facilities available.
My department tries to give placement to everybody who is in distinction and first class. The faculties too help in getting internship and trainings. Recruiters like Aeronica and Kalyani forge recruite in our college. The entry level package starts from 3 lakhs and peaks to 12 lakhs. about 60 percent students are offered placement but majority students opt for further studies.
The total fees is around 215000 for a year and increases each year by some amount raising the fees at finyal year to around 230000. Fees of full year can be paid in 2 installments that is before each semester starts. Only EWS students get scholarship.
Campus life is pretty amazing and I would say that the fest that happens in February is one of the best cultural fest among the colleges I have visited. Apart from that Libraries both at department level and university level provide hgood amount of E and Paperback books and journals facilities and subscriptions to research work. Sports is a major catch to this college due to the annual Vishwanath Sports Meet which includes almost all the games played on college level including swimming, cricket, kabaddi , archery etc..Clubs and groups keep engaging in events like spectra or any other occasional festivals which adds up to the amazing experience of this campus.
I have not opted for hostel but it is pretty expensive around 170000 per year which includes sharing rooms and food facility. The students living there have to pay extra amount for laundry also. All the facilities are good but too expensive.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
