College of my choice
Remarks :
Because of its close vicinity to my house as well as it being of the best medical colleges in India to pursue mbbs , it being in the heart of the city chandigarh and good environment directed and shaped my decision to take this college. There were no interviews aa such to get admitted here apart from appearing in the NEET exam no other test were required
Course Curriculum Overview :
Mbbs is my ambition to pursue , to become a doctor . The faculty here are very excellent in the fact that they are highly knowledgeable and approachable and have a very good way of teaching highly complicated concepts into simply poured words . The exams are conducted in accordance to a particular department but the final examination takes place yearly conducted by the punjab University with which the college is affiliated . The exams are of decent difficulty with not being too hard or too easy making it perfect for excelling as a student and becoming a well educated doctor .
Internships Opportunities :
In the MBBS course curriculum there is a necessary need to work as an intern after 4.5 years of medical study and work in the hospital for 1 year . There is consequent stipend which is increasing which now is 25k .
Placement Experience :
There is a necessary internship for every student to perform after the completion of final year of MBBS for 1 year for which they are paid about 25-30 k which is increasing . The job placements are very good too , students gets placed to the nearby government hospitals .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total tution fees varies yearly 1et year - 25k 2nd year - 18k 3rd year-18 k 4th year- 20k In the final year of internship stipend of 25-38k is provided , which is increasing both fees and stipend . There is a concession for SC candidates and the NRI students have to pay the total fees at a single time that is 1.1 lakhs . There is scholarships for students according to their merits
Campus Life :
The campus life of my college , even though the course of MBBS being one of the tedious and hard working, is very good in the sense that regular activities and events are conducted to light the mood of the students . The main Cultural and Sports event of my college is EUPHORIA , which occurs every in the month of April or May depending upon the exams . The library is full of magazines , books and journals related or unrelated to the field of medicine . The sports at the college is a bit of up and down because of unavailability of a perfect ground , but because of plenty of grounds in the chandigarh , grounds can be availed as needed , albeit students get involved in all sorts of sports and bring laurels .

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
