- Faculty is mostly doctors reading from pre prepared slides. Campus is good and the infrastructure is good too.
- The fests are good. Also it is mentioned there is a gym but actually there is no gym there is a TT table instead
Dislikes
- Attendance system is pretty strict. The washrooms are good but need maintainence
- The common room needs more development. Also a gym is required
Remarks :
It was near my house and also it had a higher ranking, good education and facilities. I had to clear a national level exam, NEET to get into it and also the cut-offs were pretty high so a lot of hard work had to be done. After your ranks, you have to undergo a medical fitness test and then you are selected. No formal interview as such took place
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum fee is very reasonable. Since it is a government college fee is not high. The facilities are good and affordable. In terms of fees, it's a very good college. There are scholarships but that is around 75rs per month to the students who get distinction in any subject. Since the fee is very reasonable mostly scholarship is not required.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, there is a mandatory internship for one year for which you get 30,000 per month. It is hectic and long working hours are there. You do work related to patient care. Also, you do useless tasks as well which your senior makes you do which is the frustrating part. But it is better compared to most other colleges. So overall it's okay
Placement Experience :
Placement is based on your NEET PG rank. Overall graduates from here score pretty decent ranks. Also, you can work in the same hospital as a junior resident if you manage to secure a seat here. So it is good overall and you have to get your rank based on your merit.
Campus Life :
There are two fests, one is intercollege which is plexus, held in August. It is around 3 days. It's really fun and a great opportunity to interact with seniors and also overcome stage fright. Another fest is Euphoria held in February for r days. It is intercollege. It is one of the biggest fests in North India and colleges from various states participate. It is a very good and interactive fest. Bollywood and Punjabi singers come also there is one comedy night where a stand-up comedian also graces the stage. It is a great way to learn how to communicate. Also a way to interact with fellow college mates.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
