Likes
- I like the faculty as they are helping and friendly in nature. Their teaching patterns are specially to my convenience.
- Another thing I like in the library. A perfect place to si quietly and study with all the study materials provided by th college. Th library also have a series of computer systems installed for students to use if needed.
Dislikes
- The canteen is not that hygienic. We can sometimes see a mouse or a rat running around it.
- Sometimes faculty members are too strict about attendance.
Remarks :
I chose this college because it is the best college in raipur having the A+ ranking by NAAC. Moreover, there were no interviews or tests or group discussions held before admission. The admission takes place on the basis of you 12th percentage.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose ths course because of it's diverse nature. The present faculty at college is helping in nature and teaching process is okay. Exams are held semester wise. Each semester is of 6months and the course contains 6 semesters ie. 3 year course. Each semester two exams are held, they are, mid semester and semester end exam. The exams aren't so difficult as the papers are made keeping in mind all th students and so that the weaker ones should also have a chance to perform well.
Internships Opportunities :
I have applied for the internship but haven't actually accepted any as they weren't of my likings and field. Other then that the placements I've seen my friends in were okay (not so good). And as my friends describe their work they seem to be happy with their placements. And I'm glad too that th placement cell is working on finding the best placement of my field that I most suitable for me.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The feelings structure is flexible. You can pay in at a single time or in installments. Moreover in your class 12th passing percentage is above 70% you get scholarship discounts on the fees of your first year (depending on your percentage).
Campus Life :
The campus is not a huge one but it is decent. A lot o events are conducted in the college like annual day, aanand mela, freshers, farewell, picnic, sports day, trip etc. In the library all types of books are available related to every course in the college.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
