- The interest structure of our college is a little small as you expect from Dental College, but it good
- The campus life is not very happening, but you don’t care about that. You mostly care about the study.
Remarks :
There were many factors that made me choose this college it was specialised in the course that I wanted to do that is BDS it had good faculty The patient number was high as compared to the other colleges near this college. It was near my house and it was easy for me to transport. The admission process- The admission process is very simple. First, you have to give the NEET exam after your 12th exam examination. Then you just have to wait for the result and in the Counselling, you will fill your preference. The admission occurs through the Counselling only. After this, you just have to go and submit your documents and your admission is done. There is no interview. No discussion, no written test or no group discussion. It only occurs through Counselling on the basis of your needs marks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I was interested in it, but if I say honestly, it was because I did not get MBBS seat, but I am satisfied with this course. I find it interesting. The faculty of this college is good and well qualified. Most of the security has done masters of their respective subjects. The teachers of 10 subject have done MD S and of MBBS subjects have done their MS and MD. The teaching method is also good. They try to make us understand through lecture , videos, PPT and by examples. The exams have a fixed time they occur yearly, mostly at the end of the year or in the starting of the next year The difficulty level I would treat 8 out of 10 because the exams are difficult, but you can pass it easily if you study efficiently
Internships Opportunities :
It is your choice if you want to continue the internship in your college because our college has an hospital as well. So students prefer to pursue their internship in this college only because there is good Patient rush. The stipend is not very high, but you will learn to work on Patient, and that is enough. You get the Patient very easily and try to do more patience.
Placement Experience :
In our field, there is no placement culture. You just have to complete the course and decide yourself if you want to join a private clinic or open your own or apply for jobs You can also join your own college as a various staff or continue for your masters The university toppers get in advantage My plan is to pursue my masters, most probably
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees goes semester wise (2 semester in each year) The fee increases by 10% each year For first semester -Rs 86,400/- It is the same for second semester, but it will increase 10% for next year and similarly for the upcoming two years Plus, there is extra computer charges for about 17,000 for each year And there is extra examination fees for about 3500 every year There are scholarships available for army kids and for services kids If you choose to live in the college hostel, then there will be an additional fee of about ?1,00,000 for each year and this hostel fee also increases 10% every year
Campus Life :
As it is a medical College, you don’t expect much extra crickter activities from it The first every year for about 2 to 3 days, mostly in the month of February there are fest and freshers and cultural events The library is good and you can get most of the books related to this course in the library very easily, but you have to make a card for it This sports, they are 3 to 4 days and they are kept just before the first and precious about 1 1/2 week is for fest and sports day There are groups such as anti ragging group and our college has an insta page
Hostel Facilities :
The application process for hostel is very simple. When you go for admission of the course they will ask you if you want host or not, if you opt for hostel, then they will provide you room according to your choice. There are different kinds of room with AC without AC. The charges are different for both. The mess food, okays. They will provide you a timetable according to which they will give the food. The food is not very good and not very bad. The infrastructure of host is such. There are two different buildings for postgraduates and undergraduates It is your wish, if you want to share your room at a less price, or you want a single room If you want to rent Room Pg, then you will very easily get a good room, just near the college

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
