For it being a DU college and had a great faculty. It was under CUET UG test so there were no GD and interview. The real photos of the college given on website create false image about campus infrastructure. So if you want a big college with nice ground and infrastructure don't get fooled.
I was interested in commerce so I took it. The faculty is really awesome and has high qualification, they also give personal guidance. The exams were timely done around the tentative dates given 3 months prior. The difficulty level is not much high.
Not much internships offered. I don't remember if they ever provided any internship officially. The teachers sometimes suggest us about new openings. They're decent ones. But I personally never applied so I can't say much.
Decent placements for all students. Cars 24,ditto, R1 etc are the companies came this year. Placements fair also helds here. Highest package around ?800000pa. Avg is around 400000pa. 60% rate of placements
First year- ?19250 Second and third year - ?16750 Scholarships are also available for everyone. I personally feel it's a good deal since it's a DU college and bcom hons degree is expensive in private ones.
Surlok is the fest. It has all sort of events and competition and mini concert for students only. Library is best place in the college and has good facilities and books. Might nit have fictional books. There are many societies for all interests and fields. Magus for dance, photobug for photography, Nepathya for drama, vanaj for commerce etc.
No hostel available. The college is really small and doesn't have a hostel facility for students. So you can skip it of you want hostel. Canteen has decent food but not so good. Pgs and rented flats are a good option here.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
