- Canteen and other extra curricular activities
- I loved the canteen food . It was so fresh and delicious . There were no complain related to food in college . College also provide opportunities to student to participate where they can win prize money and experience as well . One of internship include UMEED NGO where students use to visit the rural or village area teaching kids on board
Dislikes
- Infrastructure and Faculty was not upto the mark .
- In my time , as i mentioned infrastructure was not great as renovation was still going at that time . They were building a big auditorium which was due to be completed after 4 years .That means after i complete my graduation . some seats were broken and some were okish . Some teacher were not even in mood to come to college ,they just do it for formality and time pass . Many were there who use to come only one or twice in whole month .
Remarks :
In my time, an entrance exam was not required. It was based on cut-off. After the first year, I got to know the system had changed and now students have to pass the entrance exam to get themselves enrolled in college. The reason why I chose this college is just simple. It was close to my home with the metro available to its nearest station.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum was ok. Academics was fine. Some teachers were exceptional in teaching whereas some were just wasting time and college and just coming for a pay check. The fee structure was like this for the first year it was as high as 18000+, for the Second year 14000+, and for the third year again 18000+. There were no options for scholarships in my time but there were some extracurricular activities that helped and supported the students with the fees
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted for the UMEED NGO internship where I volunteered to teach kids on board. I loved the way kids interacted with me. Apart from this, there were many internships both paid and not paid. It gave me experience that I might have not gained in college.
Placement Experience :
EY and Genpact were the companies that came for placements. Students need to undergo for aptitude test and then interview to land a job. It was like a 1:10 ratio of getting placed and that too at a low salary of 3.5 lpa. Many students continued with post-graduation or MBA after this course as this course itself didn't give a good salary or many job opportunities.
Campus Life :
I loved the campus life. Fresher fest was so lit. Many students performed with either dancing, Beatboxing, or comedy dramas. But the only thing I disliked was there was no food arrangement for students whereas it was readily available for the professor. From morning till evening, it was all like music music, and music. There was no sports ground in college. So if you are interested in it and want to play for the college team, you need to take a trial and it was all rigged. As senior team used to collect heavy registration fees from students and select few and even after selection they were not given any chance to play in live matches. Decent library most of the educational books were available. Both the latest and old versions. There was no hostel in the college so if you are coming from far away then you need to arrange it for yourself in the college area. The food was delicious in the canteen and I had no complaints.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.

talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
