The admission was solely based on merit. 8 cutoff lists and 2 special lists were there. I got admitted to the 4th list. But now admission is solely based on scores of CUET UG. The college admin helped give info about the admission process.
I choose this course because of my commerce background. Faculty here is well qualified with some professors with Phd while others are pursuing it. The teaching methods of teachers are good including learning through games and activities, videos, group discussions, and games. The exams were conducted once every semester i.e. twice a year. Exams were of easy to moderate difficulty. The fee here remained the same throughout the degree. The cost to study here is very affordable compared to other universities. Financial aid is available for low-income family students, girls, and handicapped students.
I haven't opted for any internship while many opportunities were available for internship in mid year of college. Upgrade, Byjus, MyCaptain, Decathlon, etc offered internships with some unpaid and some having stipends of 4000-8000. Some have worked in HR and talent acquisition, business development, lead generation, sales, and insurance projects.
A student becomes eligible for placement after 2nd year of college. Companies like MyCaptain, Byjus, HDFC Insurance, Decathlon, Upgrade, Genpact, and other small firms visited colleges for placements. Companies made a lot of offers to eligible students. The highest package was 6L p.a. while the lowest was 1.8L p.a. profile offered were HR, business associate, account associate, banking & insurance intern, talent acquisition, retail, and management trainee. Around 20% of students get placed while most students plan for higher studies instead of taking placements. I opted for higher studies after my graduation.
SURLOK & TASHI are annual fests held in college in March every year with some notable personalities and singers attending and performing there. Other events keep happening all round the year. A wide variety of books and journals are available in the library, nearly all required books are available. Although college does not have its sports ground or complex , but a sports complex is alloted to college in ITO, sports teams are very active of our college. A lot of societies and clubs are there in college, all having professors as their convenors and counselors. There is no hostel facility in the college but one can rent a pg in the nearby locality which is easily available. The locality around the college is safe and good.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
