- Everything is best this college. There is a good decent crowd in the college , no ragging and all . Students love to interact and make new friends . Canteen has chole bhature , paneer parantha , rajma chawal , samosa , chowmein samosa and many more things at a very affordable rate .
- This college doesn’t allow entry into the college without id card , it is necessary to carry to enter in college , college has a well maintained infrastructure.
Dislikes
- The only thing i disliked was it was 1 hour away from my home due to which i have to travelled a lot to attend only 2 class some days.
- In my course their is no off on Saturday, there is a regular day , but it provides on holiday on monday instead of satuday which i never understood why.
Remarks :
There is just one entrance exam for graduation CUET , which i appeared for , i scored great marks that alloted me Aryabhatta college in 1 st list and in 2nd i got CVS ( this college) and i chose this one. There is no GD or PI for admission , just one exam is enough to be admitted in the college of your choice as per your efficiency in that CUET exam .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose BA HONS BUSINESS ECONOMICS, as i have a keen interest in economics from 11th class which made me score more than 90% in economics and i further wanted to go into this course as i have interest in this , so i chose ba hons business economics . It will help me in my masters as it made my base very strong And help me achieve new heights. Exams was conducted every semester (6months) Course duration is 3 years . Total 6 semesters Classes were consistent There were no irregularities in the class . Teachers were also serious towards their goal .
Internships Opportunities :
There are many internships available in the college life which offers a stipend of around 5k -15 k . Students do these intersections to gain experience which inturn upgrade their resume and help them during the placement.
Placement Experience :
Many big companies come with package for around 3 LPA - 8LPA . Depending on your skills and score they will select students who they will find suitable for their benefit . First their is an online interview that there is a further process.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As BA HONS business eco is a professional course , it is a bit costlier as compared to other graduation courses My fees was around 26-27k per year . Fees had no impact on the category one belongs to . There was no additional fees other than this amount . The college also offers various fest and events every other day.
Campus Life :
This college organises lots of fests in the college , every other day there is some function or a fest going on . Biggest fest of the year is ‘ TATVA ‘ This fest comes with a well known singer , party , food and all . It also has all sports available if you have interest in any sports , you can join and achieve great success in that field . Library has all the books that you might need in your college life , you need your id card to take book from library to home . You can keep book for upto 2 weeks.
Hostel Facilities :
I didn’t opted for a hostel but there are PGs and flats available where students live in sharing for around 5-6k / students . All the pgs and flats are at a distance of less than 500 m . There are many property dealers who will help you find a perfect house to feel like home.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

Placement Experience :
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
