I had budget issues and didn't wanted to let go of another year and in Delhi Jim's was most affordable and even had 100% placement offers. One of my friends recommended JIMS as she was studying in JIMS at the same time and I had talked to even my seniors who were doing MBA/PGDM in various other colleges in Delhi so the plus points which highlighted JIMS at my time was - 1. Fees 2. 100% placement 3. Batch size 4. Great Faculty 5. Crowd of the college. I had given my application on their website ( JIMS ROHINI SECTOR-5) , they needed any 1 score either 60% above in CAT , 600+ in CMAT/MAT exam, NMAT etc. so I had given my MAT scorecard. Afterwards I got telephonic call regarding the application and further process of GD and PI which happens the same day. So they will issue an admit card for the same . GD was of general current affairs topic or social topic- my topic was working from home vs work from office which is better and PI was totally based on your graduation course.
Course curriculum is set every year for each batch and it is set with the understanding of the industry and it's requirement and what is the current trend. So the curriculum changes each year. I chose this course because I had a keen interest in Business and management studies and I wanted to gain practical knowledge rather than theoretical classroom knowledge and this course has given me that only. The qualification of faculty and guest faculties are of PHD levels and even if they are not PHd level they have abundance of knowledge to give. They always ask in the beginning of every class if we want to change the method of teaching and if students are comfortable. So if you tell the faculty that this method is not working they will definitely change it. Since PGDM Course is of Trimester basis you will have exams every 3 months and apart from external exams you will have to pass all the internals exams too . The exams and tests are of moderate level difficulty .
Yes , I got internship from college itself. The internship opportunities are also given by the placement cell of the college so we don't have to worry about getting summer internships but if you are opting for finding one yourself then you can do that as well. Stipend varies and starts from rs 5000 per month to rs 25000. The higher the stipend , the role is for marketing fields. Finance and HR usually gets paid less. The internship lasts for 2-3 months depending on the company but the time given by the college for completing the internship is of 3 months starting from mid of April till mid of July. I got into an insurance company and the role I had was of research and I didn't do any sales. But the work will vary from company to company. Many of my friends did cold calling too. Companies that come for internships are Deloitte, Asian Paints, Aditya Birla, KPMG, SERVOTECH, NO BROKER, FINWISE, CALVIN KLEIN , REGISTERKARO etc.
We have a 100% placement. I got placed in month of October , 2024. 90% of our batch is already placed and rest are still in the process of interviews and everything. We had international offers. The eligibility criteria for placements is you should not have more than 2 active backlogs in any trimester ( like for whole 1 year). The highest package offered is 23 lakhs (for abroad) , within India (11 lakhs), lowest package offered (5lakhs). Profiles vary a lot in case of finance marketing and HR , in HR you get senior level positions but in finance you get junior associates, managers , deputy managers , analysts etc. For marketing you get sales manager, analysts, store managers, operations managers etc. Since I am already placed I am waiting for my offer letter to get in hand. Our top recruiters are DELOITTE, KPMG, TCS, ACCENTURE, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES,ICICI , MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ ALLIANCE, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, EXIDE, BLUESTONE, GARTNER, RELIANCE JIO etc.
My total 2 years Fees is rs 8,75000 and rs 7500 being a security deposit which they said that you will be getting it refunded after the course, rest were part of the whole tuition fees. We have a system of scholarship but it's applicable for EWS category, Minority category, Jain category etc. PGDM IB AND PGDM RM also had the same fees as of PGDM GENERAL. But every year for new batches the fees increases. So my previous batch's fees was of rs 8,00,000. Then for the next enrolled batch that is 2024-2026 their fees is between rs 9,25000-975000. Now for the batch of 2025 they have increased the fees further and now they have kept the fees differently for Major and Minor subject you will be selecting in your 2nd year. For scholarships my classmates recieved rs 12000 but I am skeptical that they recieved it per trimester or after 2 trimesters. For merit you have to secure above 75 percentage and it also varies if you have SC, ST, EWS quotas .
We have many clubs and societies for eg. Finvestera , marketing club, HR CLUB(SAMANVYA) , CULTURAL Club who organises freshers and farewell too. We have 1 Annual fest called VERVE and Jim's Rohini Sector 5 and Sector 3 jointly organised it. The fest happens in month of February, this year it happened on 28th Feb and 1st March (got delayed a little). We have a 2 storey building for library and it has every edition of books you want including all the references. The staff there is amazing and very helpful. Since the infrastructure is small but every amenities are there for eg. Centralised AC, LED Lightings, SMARTBOARDS, Wifi for students , Computer labs with working computers and everything. We do have a sports club and they utilise the space for conducting sports days , you can play cricket, tug of war, badminton, volleyball, arm wrestling etc. in campus and we also have a very small basketball court but for matches, the college rents turf and sports tracks , court etc.
I didn't opt for hostel because I live in Delhi itself but in our time the fees of hostel per year was ?1,10,000 which had to be given seperately apart from the whole tuition fees. The food quality and menu is exceptional, you will have variety of vegitarian options but there is no non veg option available. Registration process is simple you will have to fill up in the application form itself if you want to opt for hostels and if you come to visit the campus you can tell them that you need to have a look at the hostel too. Boys and girls hostels are different. My friends used to live in PG and flats. If you are taking shared PGS and flats in Rohini sector 5 then you costing would come between 4000-6000rs (for a shared group of 2-3 people). You will have to bargain a lot though. Nevertheless PGs and Hostels are affordable and you can get them anywhere in Rohini. Only some PGS offer food services but it's not that great so you will have to make your own food or get househelp.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
