I was interested in aeronautics soon I realised that there is a college in my city itself that provides aerospace , there was an entrance exam of the college called PERACET which we had to write separately .
Aerospace Engineering total consist of 44-45 subjects in total in which each subjects have 5 units each acc to NEP as of 2023 , there is 2 exams per semester mid sem & end sem in which it is of 30 and 50 marks exclusive of the assignments and lab exams.
No I haven't opted for any internship as I am currently a 2nd year Aerospace student , I dont know about the details of the internship offered to students of 3rd year , once i will get an intership in 3rd year i can maybe tell / explain.
There are placements opportunity for aerospace students in prestigious sectors like HAL , DRDO , where students gets hands on experience on their interest , If students wish to not to do the placements they can continue with their studies like MTECH in Israel , Ireland based on the GATE scores.
my yearly fee 223000 , but it increases by 10-15k per year the per year fee is filled in 2 sets ie per semester. there are scholarship available for students but in my case o have not applied for one yet
College has really helped me to be more social as I found out about various culture students from all over India , The campus is very huge providing various opportunity not only in studies but in sports , music , fest etc.
I am a day scholar so i dont have any information to tell about the hostel , I have friends who are hostelers who uses hostel mess daily the food served is average , only veg food is made available as it is a Maharashtrian college
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
