The college is known for its faculty. From the academic perspective the college is good but from extracurriculars (fests) the college is ok ok. There were no group discussions, interviews or written tests at my time.
I opted for B.com hons. I opted for the course to gain knowledge about commerce. The faculty is experienced and knowledgeable about the subject very well. Also the classes are interactive. Many subjects include presentations in the internal assessment which helped me to understand the topic better.
I did not participate for placements or internships but there are many opportunities available for internships. Also one can get an internship through the central placement cell of Delhi university.
I did not appear for placements. But broadway was responsible for placements. One can get an average of 3-6 lakhs per annum from campus. Getting more than the average completely depends on one's caliber and ability.
The fees structure is as follows: Rs.8000 for the 1st year then Rs.8,500 and Rs.9000 for 2nd and 3rd year respectively. An increase of Rs.500 annually. There is facility to pay the fees online. One can pay the fees online and generate the receipt.
During my time at the college there were fewer fests mainly due to Covid but in my 2nd and 3rd year the no. Of fests and other activities organised increased than before . Also the library is maintained wherein one can find older as well as newer editions of books. There are various clubs and societies one can join to make the most out of college, the most famous being adroit, vangati, vyaapar.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
