- I love the library of the college, along with the various facilities like canteens, stationary, gym etc.
- Secondly the wifi facilities provided by the college are also nice.
Dislikes
- I don't dislike anything as such but I think the sports infrastructure can be improved a little bit.
- Similarly, the hostels and classrooms infrastructure can also be improved to certain extent.
Remarks :
For the admission I attempted CLAT Common Law Admission Test and cleared the cutoff. No interview is held as part of admission process. The cutoff of NLUO is slightly high, as it is one of Top 10 law colleges of India.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The academics is slightly hectic but very engaging. The course contains 60 different subjects to be passed in 10 semesters in 5 years. The faculty is also very well qualified and knowledgable. The exams are conducted once in each semester- at the end of the semester.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are also pretty nice. There is an internship committee that helps students to get internship in each semester. Moreover 2 months break is given at the end of each semester for internship purposes.
Placement Experience :
The placement opportunities are pretty good. The reputed companies like Indus Law, Trilegal and Khaitan visit the campus each year to recruit the students. The average package is around 10 lakhs per annum. The highest is around 25 lakhs per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure of National Law University Odisha is 2.56 lakhs per year including tuition fees and hostel fees. The is separate 40,000 fees for mess in a year. The fees is same for all the categories but there is scholarship available for certain backward classes.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure of the campus is decent. The classrooms are well furnished and equipped. There is a seminar hall, amphitheatre, library, gym etc. Talking about social life two fests are held each year, one in a semester.
Hostel Facilities :
There is a separate mess for both boys and girls managed by two separate mess committees. The fees is 155-160 Rs. per day, roughly 20,000 for one semester. The menu is also inclusive of the diversity in the college. The hostel fees is 30,000 included in 2,56,000 only.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
