I chose nbnstic mainly because its affiliated with sppu , has a good brand name under sinhgad institutes, and the ca,pus is well maintained. Also it is located in pune which is consisderd a good hub for education and opportunities. Admission was mainly through mhtcet and jee mains scores under the cap rounds. no gds and wrriten tests, there is cut off for colleges and for admission , you need to have that much score and then college get allocated to you. basically i prepared for jee mains and mhtcet is my state level entrance for engineering so thats why i had aslo attempted it.
I chose my course because of my interest in technology . course curriculum is based on sppu only in my college. it covers all major subjects needed for a strong foundation, but sometimes it feels little outdated compared to latest industry. talking about faculty, most of faculties are well qualified ,holding Mtech, phd degrees, teaching methods are mostly traditional. Not all faculty members are equally engaging . Term exams ,units tests and final exams were usually conducted on time as per acacdemic calendar.
Yes in third year of degeree its compulsory for students to do an internship, i have alos done my intership through the company name technohack edutech where i worked as java developer intern, its tough to get paid internship, but students with good skillset and connection can get that type of internship.
Placements are generally decent, with more opportunities available for branches like cs,it entc, to eligible campus placements students should have no active backlogs and 60 % above in ovarall cgpa. companies like capgemini, cognizant, accenture comes for campus placement.
so for general category through cap admission the fees during my batch is 1 lakh five thousand, management quota students had to pay a bit higher. breakdouwn roughly include tution fees- 80000 , development fees , 15000 admission fees-5000 and lab and other charges. for resrverd category the tutionfee wavier is available. students under ews and obc also get partial fee wavier on eligibility. there is ebc scholarship for open category students who are economically backword. i also get 50% tution fees wavier through ebc scholarship.
Campus life is overall decent, with mix of academics and extracurricular activities. The environment is friendly and students from different backgrounds come together, so its easy to amke friends. There are various students - run clubs for technical and cultural , sport activities . Techtonic, Sinhgad karandak this are some famous events of my college.
When i came here in first year , i chose hostel, it was decent experience but because of many resttrictions and time problems , me and my friends rented a flat , rents are not that high, and its also convenient as you can choose your mess. the mess food quality is average.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
