Remarks :
Scholarship was the core reason getting into the college. No interview was taken. NO Entrance test For BTech 75% is required in PCM after 12th until you take admission before the 12th results, No cutt off just give money the fee... admission fee etc. they don't care much.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum is like any other tier 3 college basic covering PCM. also faculty is not good for as far as my experience most of the upper managing faculty like HOD , ED are rude they only care about money fee..they act good until you get into the college and then charge different ways to take money from students
Internships Opportunities :
no internship provided to us till now...There are no special measures taken in behalf of the college no projects are asked to made...if you're coming in this college be prepared to be on yourself no helping guidance
Placement Experience :
College pay companies to employ students just to show others that they have highest package like 54LPA whatsoever..and after a period of time they are fired. Poor placement until you work really hard on your skills to get a well paid job
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I'm a Btech Student I pay rs 67500 for one semester and folks say that most probably the fees going to increase this year to 1 lak per semester. They have this Scholarship exam called Josh where you give an entrance exam and based on the result to the josh scholarship exam you get scholarship on the tution fee..I scored 75% in the exam and as a result my fee is less than 67000 around 50k per semester.
Campus Life :
Different clubs are there music club, photography club, sports etc. Fest is conducted for freshner in September and then in Oct we have this fest called Saviskar. There's are college level sports events Infrastructure is decent. They have their own music band called banjara and dance ground called molers
Hostel Facilities :
I don't live in Hostel . There are two rooms with AC and without AC , mess food is average not bad. Girls can't roam in the campus and even across the hostel gate after 6pm. Strict environment only for girls.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
