- Our college don't have any grounds or large space to play in inside the campus.
Remarks :
So I have opted for finance as a major in my college i.e DHSK COMMERCE COLLEGE. It's the second best college known for commerce in my district. It has a large class rooms with seating capacity of more than 150 students, each class room consist of digital screen, projector and air conditioners.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As per my needs I want to make my future in finance sector. The faculty is well educated with most of them with a experience of more then 7 years. They help us a lot in finding and solving our most of the doubts with a proper clarification.
Internships Opportunities :
No. I haven't join any internship till now but I am planning to join some of them. Events like summer internship can help a lot in it. I am also in touch with our seniors who can help us to find some of them.
Placement Experience :
The college don't provide placements but help us with the internships. They also telecast many webinars and shows which can helpus to assist in internship and job findings. I have planned for doing MBA after my graduation
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So our college typically charges 7200 for the 1st semester and the time of admission and after that 1500 to 1800 for examination fees. For the 2nd semester they charge a nominal fees of rupee 2000. And for the 2nd year they charges a fee of 3000 to 5000. College also provide scholarship for the low income groups.
Campus Life :
There are multiple social groups in our campus for social and societal welfare. Groups like NCC, NCS, ABPV, heritage club and many more.Our college also has a library which has a lot of Books consist of new edition and the old ones.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted for the hostel yet but it's pretty good. It has an cricket and football field along with the hostel and also provide a decent rooms for the students the quality of good is also good. Overall it's a good experience.

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

Dream Campus, Not-So-Dream Jobs

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

I forever had a dream of starting a business by myself as I come from a business background I also wanted to help my father in his work , I wanted to grow my father's business by just putting technical efforts so this is the reason I chooses commerce Teachers are of very friendly nature and helpful If you attend regular college you won't face any difficulties in exams
Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
