- i like the college of north campus because north campus and big colleges are good in every facility and infrastructure .
Dislikes
- no guidance from du sol site and teachers.
Remarks :
as i was from unreserved category , eventually after scoring marks goodin eamcet i didn't get the admission. so then i later joined through distnace from open learning in which it was easy to get admission. and for du sol i didnt have to go for any selection round just fill the form and paid the fees and got admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose this course because i wanted to learn about humanitits , politics as i see my future career in politics . du sol was first giving online class which i was unable to understand at all because online teachers are just ding duties not teaching . offline class i attended sunday to sunday was quite better but not expecting . i got my books delivered very late . exams were timely and before exam there are internal assessment test which we can give through phone or pc also .
Placement Experience :
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I took admission in 2025 october and filled exam form from du sol . i selected subjects of total 6 semesters including with history minor and political science major. total fee for the first year i paid was 10,950 inr rupees. when i will promote to 2nd year i have to pay the amount again.
Hostel Facilities :
as i live in delhi , so i dont need hostel . and as also if you are taking admission in school of open learning you dont require that because exam only happen half yearly so you must need to come for giving exam only half yearly .

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
