Likes
- Firstly our college Fest JAYCIANA is the most loved part of all.
- Campus life will be enjoyed each and every bit aat every point of college. Come and enjoy mysore and SJCE.
- Placements are best with a really good median package.
- infrastructure is amazing. Well maintained classes , labs and toilets.
Dislikes
- Some of the faculties are not so good enough some times.
- Our college is too porsche and it's quite a bit expensive for management students.
Remarks :
1. The admission test for joining our college is KCET/COMEDK. If joining through kcet the fees is really less. If joining through COMEDK the fees is about 2.9L per year. 2. People can join through Management quota and the fees for management quota depends upon the branch. 3. The main reason for joining this college was placements. It has the best placement in our city. 4. Overall our college enviornment is really good depending upon what freiends you choose.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Informaton science as my branch. It's almost same as CSE. Just think it as brother of CSE department. Information Science is a really good branch regarding placements . Our faculties is chillest of all other branches. Best faculty ever met. Almost all faculties are good qualified. For economically backwards students they may get fees waiver or scholarships.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't got any internships right now as i'm still in 3rd sem. But seniors have got paid internships from our college. By that experience i can say that internships (paid/unpaid) are based on the skills and the coding test and interview taken by the companies.
Placement Experience :
As previously mentioned placements from this college is top among our city and comes in top 5 in our state karnataka. Placement and internships are easy to grab. Overall the median package is above 8-10L. 100% of the students get placed in CSE, ISE and CSBS branches. Highest package was around 52LPA last year. My plan is to get a good placement after degree.
Campus Life :
Our college's fest is one of the greatest and fun filled fest in all over mysore. Come to mysore and ask about jayciana each and every one knows about it. Our college fest name is JAYCIANA. It takes place on even sem every year. It's one of the biggest cultural fest in karnataka. Jayciana lies in our heart until the end. Our college publishes a book each and every year. We have one of the largest libraries having thousands of books available. All classrooms have smart board with normal board and chalk. Almost each and every sports is present in JSS STU ( football, cricket, volleyball, tennis, basketball, batminton, Gym, hockey ground etc.,). There are about 25 clubs in our college. Websites and instagram handels are run by students. and overall college life and social life is really good !

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
