My college experience
Remarks :
Being in NIT is good aspect in itself but peer pressure is very high. There are many issues such as lot of study hours no different time for extra curricular activities. And mandatory 80% attendance no extra allowance if a person is ill or not well. Admission process is totally based on jee mains score. You need quite high percentile in jee mains to clear cut off for NITs.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was highly interested in mechanical engineering. I loved car sports like f1 or nascar, thats why i had chosen this branch. Faculty is highly educated with PhDs from prestigious Institutions and their way of teaching is quite good. Mid semester exams are conducted after 2 months of beginning of new semester and then end semester exams with few assessments during semester. As of now there is no effect of fee hike policy and cost to study.
Campus Life :
Utkansh is the major fest which is conducted every year in month of march. Library consists of various books of different fields and research papers of different faculty members. Sports fest and athletic fest is conducted twice every year. There are various clubs which are run by students and TCA is biggest club which conducts different fest and carry events successfully.Hostel facilities are fine here. Wifi is available of good quality. Infrastructure is also good. Staff of mess is ok ok but doesn't match the expectations. Process of registration is quite simple and easy for new students if they want to avail the hostel facility.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.

Placements in University is good. Companies like Zscalar, TCS, Reliance come to our University every year and give opportunities to the student to make their future bright. Although visits of these companies reduced in 2023.
