Remarks :
According to my jee score card this was the best college in jossa councelling according to academic, placement and college life. It has a very Lush green campus , good infrastructure and decent sports facilities. Admission was through jossa councelling and then then physical reporting.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There is Mid sem and one end semester examination held every semester, there is minimum 3 quiz also and there is one final practical examination exam for the labs , one have to score minimum 40% to get to next semester. Difficult level of exam is moderate. Faculties are very well qualified and cooperative.
Internships Opportunities :
NITJ jalandhar offers good intership opportunities. Companies like microsoft, Amazon, oracle, Flipkart, Citibank, Adobe came here for internship. Students can apply after second year onwards for internship.
Placement Experience :
Average package of college was 10 lpa last year , for tech branch it was around 13 lpa. Major recruiters were Microsoft, Amazon, google , nvidia , Adobe , oracle , atlassian came here for campus placement and intership . Highest package was 64 lpa offered by atlassian offered to 4 students. Almost 70 got placed at package of 25 and more.

Campus Life :
Utkansh is nitj' s cultural fest which is held every year . There are many other fest such as techniti(tech fest) , Bharat dhavani ( nitj's foundation day). All festival are celebrated with joy in nitj campus. Basic amenities are available in the campus. There are 2 libraries. One is old and other is newly constructed with computer system installed. The old has about 1 lakhs of books. Nitj have almost every sports facilities available, badminton have seperate indoor court and there are cricket, football ground. Vast varieties of clubs are also there.
Hostel Facilities :
There are three boys hostels for first year students namely BH1 , BH2 , BH5 . BH1 and BH2 are four seater and BH5 is two seater . Food is comparatively good in BH1 and BH2 . veg and non veg both are available and menu is changed regularly. Allotment was done by online procedure.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
