I have given JEE exam. NITs can only be get through JEE exam. The factors I considered while choosing NITJ is the distance from my hometown, NIRF ranking , it's placement statistics. I scored 96 percentile in JEE and got Electrical engineering in NITJ. Course is good. Faculties are nice and helpful. Only bad aspect I would say is the 75% attendance criterion. Other than that , its all nice here.
I choose electrical engineering because of the fact that it is a circuital branch and thus have better placements than many other courses. Faculties who teach here are well qualified and have done PHDs. In a semester , two time exams are being conducted, one is mid-sem and one is end-sem. Difficulty level is not that much . It is of medium level.
Yes , I have done summer internship after my 6th semester. Summer internships are compulsory in my college. There are many companies who came to offer internships. I did an off campus internship at Meta Craftlab. My role was of full stack developer intern.
Placements and job opportunities are good in my college. In all the departments, 60-70% students are already placed within one semester (7th semester). More than 70 companies have came till now. In my seniors batch , 95% students got placed. Highest package offered was from Microsoft and is of 54 LPA. Other than that , Google , Oracle , Optum and so many more companies visit the campus and hire students.
The tution fee per semester is fixed and that is 62,500/- . Hostel and mess fee is 25,500 per semester . Other fee (development fee , exam fee , library fee , etc) is 25,000 per semester. For SC , ST category students , tution fee is 0. For students with family income less than 1 lpa , tution fee is 0. For students with family income between 1 lpa to 5 lpa , their tution fee will be 20,833. Family income >5lpa , full tution fee is applicable.
Life at campus is really good . Two tests are celebrated each year. One is the cultural fest (Utkansh) and is celebrated on April. The other one is the technical fest (Techniti) and is celebrated on September -October. Other than that , Foundation day is also celebrated and is called as Bharat Dhwani. Almost every festival is celebrated in the campus. Library infrastructure is really good. You can get almost every book which is required in your coursework. Classrooms are big and air-conditioned. Every sport is being played in the campus and there is a seperate ground for cricket , football , basketball, badminton, lawn tennis etc. There are so many clubs in my college for different things whether its dance , music , coding , etc.
Yes , I have opted for hostel. Food in hostel mess is not bad. Especially the breakfast are really good. In dinner , we get sweets along with dinner also. Infrastructure of hostel is really nice. Hostels are big, have gardens , game rooms , TV room etc. Bathrooms are also clean. Hostel and mess is affordable. Diet rate is near to 22rs/diet.
if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
