Factors that made me choose this college was this college is said to be the no.1 women college in North India . The teaching staff and the environment of the college is best suited for every girl . I came to know about this college from mine sister who studies here .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Academic - the academic point of view this college is best suited for each and every course . The syllabus of the courses is so advance. Course curriculum - training programs are there in the syllabus to encourage students to participate in the industrial field Faculties - The faculty of the courses and college are so supportive and encouraging. They not only help to guide for syllabus but also encourage and provide the important guidance related to entrance exams
Internships Opportunities :
Yes the college provides internship programs We have done our internship program from the industry verka milk plant Jalandhar where we studied the quality assurance labs and performed certain practicals to test the fat content
Placement Experience :
There is minimal placement provided in biotechnology courses as this is the field of industrial and company . But our college provides placement cell always tries to give job opportunities After the bsc BIOTECHNOLOGY I'll try for masters in biotechnology and try for good company which is related to our field
Campus Life :
The campus of Kanya Mahavidyalaya Jalandhar is so pure and fresh . The library provide sufficient amount of reading stuffs and silent environment to learn Sports and extracurricular activities are so encouraged and teachers also helps the student to participate in sports and extracurricular activities. Mess food quality is very good and hygienic and menu set is said to be enough good . Hostel is affordable as compared to other colleges

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
