The college admission process turned out to be quite a challenge for me. I always wanted to study computer science, but I ended up being late for the admission in many colleges that offered this program. Instead, I got offers from various colleges for different branches, which I wasn't what I wanted. Then I got offered from JD college they offered me computer science. I joined the college without going through the usual admission process. JD college wasn't my first choice, but it turned out to be a place where I could study computer science.
choosing computer science was a decision rooted in my passion for technology and problem solving. when it comes to faculties at Jd college, I was pleased to find experienced and qualified professors who taught efficiently. In terms of assessments, the term exams at Jd college were conducted in a timely manner, allowing for a structured and organized calendar. I'm getting scholarship which is helping me to pay. all way long I only applied in this college for degree purpose. But one of the hod in my first year was very rude. he even said he would slap if I broke the rules all I was telling the truth, but he didn't listen.
So basically, this college has no good internships. All you need to do is create your own skills and start preparing it online. I heard companies like tata and TCS has come to our college for placements. Usually, students from here go for off campus placements.
The eligibility criteria stand under the academic validation. A good CGPA will help the students to clear 1st round which is CGPA round. according to the seniors, I get to know from seniors that this college don't have good placement that is not many students get a job from here. So, I have decided I will get good grades and start preparing myself with good skills with programming and will do internships online. Also had a plan to do ms directly after bachelors in USA.
The fest is called vibrance which has various types of activities This college has numerous opportunities for students to join clubs and showcase their skills. for each branch they got a separate club and additional to one they got clubs for everyone- student club, Rotaract club, GDSC (google developer student club) and many more for events. student club hosts vibrance. we have an auditorium in our college called " Dr. Abdul kalam auditorium." They have different verities of books and a big space lot for reading books. We also have similar sports club which comes under student clubs. We don't have hostel in the college but some miles away from college. I have no idea about hostel stuff because I stay in this city itself.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
