- College societies are a very good way to socialize with people and have good friends.
- Campus life is pretty soothing i would say.
Dislikes
- Washrooms maintenance could be better overall.
- Maintenance of old building(fans and ventilations)
Remarks :
After going through CUET exam, got admitted to CVS DU due to its tag of Delhi University. Online reviews looked promising and some seniors gave positive info about the college. The main point was to get a good exposure of the real world.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is pretty good, we learn different subjects like micro/macro economics, Human resource planning, Labour laws, Management concept and practices, Hindi, Environmental sciences, Human resource management etc. Some additional subjects called value added courses(vac) and skill enhancement course(sec) are also provided. Overall good faculties with nice guidance. Fees is pretty avg as it is a government aided institution.
Campus Life :
Everyone comes to DU for the exposure present here. CVS has a green campus located in south delhi. Overall good infrastructure, though washrooms can improve. There are various societies based on a person's interests (cultural and academic). Different competitions are also organised by the college societies to take part in.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
