D.s.b campus nainital Kumaun University is situated in very scenic location and the academic reputation of this university is very good it offers you quality education that's why i chose this college. No there is no discussion interviews or written test for admission. Admissions is done by merit.

Internships Opportunities :
Yes i have done the internship with some NGO's that works for environment and forests. I have done my internship with a NGO called CHEA, CHINAR etc. they teaches students about the different factors about forests and enviroment.
Placement Experience :
There is no campus placements that are provided by the college for any courses. But students get placed in many componies from this college and it also provides internships in campus that helps students to develop their skills.
Campus Life :
The campus fosters a vibrant social life and the campus boasts modern infrastructure. Campus also organizes annual cultural and technical fests, providing students with platforms to show their talents and creativity. The library of campus offers a vast collection of books,journals and online resource to support academic research. The campus promotes sports and extra curricular activities through facilities of indoor and outdoor sports. There are less hostels in campus and they are kinda good enough and the admission in hostel happens according to the merit/marks. Mostly students prefer to live in a PG or rented room.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
