- Campuses quite begin size so you can Rome around and it has very as locations around it like the dhauladhar range of mountains ahead.
- Infrastructure of the colleges also good we have many hospitals which are well equipped we have a super speciality block and a new pediatric hospital also coming.
Dislikes
- Due to opening a various hospitals it became quite congested recently.
- Faculties are same everywhere around the country they will only play a presentation on the board and you will have to read that subject or topic by yourself.
Remarks :
In NEET 2021 I got a rank of 5570 so I thought I would get college anywhere but to my surprise, the competition was very fierce and I was a dropper so I didn't want to waste more time. I am a resident of Haryana and the Haryana govt had a 5 - year bond policy after MBBS so I thought rather than doing MBBS from there and fulfilling the bond afterward I could do it from Himachal Pradesh. Here, there is no bond after MBBS and you are free to do whatever you want after completion of your 5.5 years of course. The ranking of Dr. Rpgmc Tanda was also satisfactory So I thought why not do it at this college itself? These were the sole reasons I chose Dr. Rpgmc Tanda. There were no interviews or tests but there is a medical examination to find if you are fit to join the degree or not.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is usually 5 years long and we have teachers and professors who teach us well and the faculties are helpful and good. Scholarships are usually given to the scheduled caste and scheduled Tribes students who are from backward areas and are economically weaker and fees are just 2.5 lacs for the whole 5 years of course it includes your tuition fees and hostel fees.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internships. After the completion of my course of MBBS, the government college itself provides one year of internship in which you are paid an amount that is usually very strong from state to state here in Himachal Pradesh it is 20000 per month for an intern.
Placement Experience :
There are no placements and MBBS as everyone knows you do the MBBS get your degree and find a job by yourself. You can get a government job in the same college if you qualifier exam which is held every year by the government of Himachal Pradesh and you will get a job as a medical officer.
Campus Life :
Campus life is okay we have a fresher's party every year whenever the new batch arrives and then we have a farewell party for the batch that is going and we also have a yearly fest called Connexus. Almost every book is available in the library and there are two playgrounds and the sports facilities are good. I have opted hostel but as everyone knows the hostel food cannot compare with it. Affordability's quite ok as Tanda is a village-like area.
