Starting with the good aspects the major point was the faculty they were super student-friendly and had an exceptional Management and situation-handling skills the college has extracurricular activities as well to enhance a bunch of skills Negative aspects are a below-average campus & not that wow classrooms are strict on attendance and management is a little biased Mer personally chose the college because I was pursuing CA and this was the nearest college to my home to save a lot of traveling this is an Autonomous and we'll recognise college so it was a WIN WIN situation for me The college seriously needs to improve its infrastructure and with a little management shuffle everything is perfect Overall it's a good place to learn and highly recommend the same
I am pursuing a CA and wanted to do a degree other than BCOM so chose BFM as I love finance specially financial markets so this made me choose BFM secondly don't want to go for BAF as it shares a lot of common topics with my CA The syllabus mostly covered everything about financial markets Equity, derivatives, debt, forex, commodity, money market, and a lot more also laid focus on practical aspects like TECHNICAL ANALYSIS & FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS and Corporate finance which is a key factor to enter into fields like INVESTMENT BANKING, research analyst , fund manager and other Asset management services including Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management The faculty was super student-friendly and had exceptional knowledge giving practical real-life examples and also demonstrating how to use them on real-real-time basis
Had opted for internship at Arihant Enterprises located in Malad East Pushpa Park Had an awesome experience as I got hands-on experience at an early stage of my career I was entitled to handle Tax returns, accounting, GST, and a lot more at the place which improved me a lot and has made me sharper
The campus placements are decent as well and high probability of an average student with average grades get placed in a lot of financial firms, banks, and institutions from various fields arrives college during placement The highest package offered there is around 8-10 L pa and on an average 5-6 L pa My plans after getting a degree are to continue my CA journey
Here's what this college lacks the most I hated the college campus the infrastructure was too basic the Fests and other college events were just a formality and below average and even if they were interesting the college campus wasn't worth the same I didn't join any social clubs or events so don't have much idea but my friends who joined them have a lot of positive suggestions for the same
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
