The college recognizes 2 types of exams mainly. 1 JEE main and 2 MHTCET. For JEE the average cutoff is 50-60 %ile for computer-related departments and for MHT-CET it's 70%ile. The admission process is quite simple the college accepts online application and offline finalisation. The classroom and lab are well maintained. The canteen is affordable and hygienic. The college provides bus facilities to those students who live a bit far away and there is no hostel facility. There are a lot of third-party hostels available nearby. The bad aspect of college is that college lacks skilled faculty. The few faculty are of top-notch class and few are not sure what they are teaching. Faculties are friendly and helpful during the exam period. 2nd bad aspect is college lacks funding and due to this not many events are held. Aurora is held each year as a 10-day fest. 1st 4 days are of sports and rest followed by cultural events. The college provides placement but not many can make it coz of terms and conditions
The faculty of the college is friendly. There are many faculty in the college who help a lot with studies but there are also a few arrogant faculties. There are also departments with no faculties allowed (vacant). For scholarship, the college has 4 types SC/ST, OBC, EBC, and TFWS. No financial assistance is provided.
For placement, it is recommended to at least maintain 7 pointers with no pending backlogs. The TCS is the mass recruiter. But not many students can make it. Sometimes it seems the college fakes placement records.
The campus Is too short but has all the facilities. The main fest conducted in the college is Aurora a 10-day long fest. 1st 4 days are of sports and rest followed by cultural events. Social groups in the college are Rotaract, the student's council, the green club, and NSS. The food quality of the canteen is good the ground fulfills the need of daily scholars. In terms of sports, the college lacks very much... No proper sports team players randomly participate in inter-college events and a lot lot lot lot of politics.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
