Review for 1st year students who are confused whether to join or not.
Remarks :
Placements : This college has great placements apart from the placements there is nothing good in this college..there is no campus experiences it's only 3-4 acres (since it's in the middle of the city)..btw it has great labs.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The courses are fine, seniors are very supportive and experienced .. curriculums are not very scheduled..they are provided by VTU, academics is going very well..some faculties are very supportive and some are not but overall it's a great experience.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is different for both Comedk (all over India) candidates and kcet (Karnataka) candidates..for comedk candidates it's around 2.8 lacs per year and for kcet students it's about 90k per year..and for management students it's different.
Campus Life :
As I mentioned before there is no campus life in my college, but there indeed a social life clubs are very active and diverse from each other..the club activities such as hackathons and meet ups are conducted every month..the seniors are very supportive and experienced I mentioning it again. I haven't opted for hostel.
Interview Experience :
I wrote one written exam called Comedk no interviews no group discussions..COMEDK, or the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka, conducts entrance exams for undergraduate engineering, medical, and dental courses in private colleges across Karnataka, India.

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
