- The infrastructure and the greenery of the college makes the students feels relieved and also the college campus provides a peaceful mind to think and create .
- The faculty of the college is a group of big and also to make more time efficient they work with great coordination to fulfill the students demand and to make the students stress free from any other problem either it may be scholarship or other .
Dislikes
- The college infrastructure is eco-friendly and clean . The college ground staff like gardener and cleaners do clean daily for good maintenance.
- Campus life is good and appreciable because of the environment of the campus and the good behaviour of every student.
Remarks :
There was a selection process according to the grades. Also, the authorities asked a few questions before admission into the particular subject taken as honors and also asked why you are choosing this subject. Nowadays the college conducts an entrance exam to get admission to North Lakhimpur College.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The North Lakhimpur college is known as the best in lecturers and also good administrative staff who guide the students very well and to get selected for the English Department is an honor to all the students who seek to get into the English department. The teaching quality of the faculty motivates and also encourages them to push the limits of the student's excellence. They conduct seminar presentations for the growth of more knowledge and information about the lessons and sessional exams to understand the chapters well and also sudden test exams to know whether the student is studying or not. They also provide scholarships to the below-property students which will make them focus on their studies better. There is also a zero admission fee process where they check the student's background and the family's annual income. Although the faculty is very cooperative and supportive in every aspect regarding the students.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any companies because I wanted to pursue a master's degree and I have done my master's. They offer managers posts in some of the automobile companies become of the English background and also for the speaking and dealing with confidence.
Placement Experience :
There are placement programs held in the last year of the college and the students should not have any backlogs in the semester. The kind of degree the students are pursuing depends on getting a job.
Campus Life :
The North Lakhimpur college organized college week which gives the students to showcase their inner talent and also provides a platform where they can know which sports they are good at. The college library provides both digital and traditional materials of information and every department and class has its library to get the information within the department quickly. Inter-department games were also conducted by the college to gain or make good bonding among the college students. There is a girls' common room and a boys' common room where the boys and girls and relax during break time and also they can discuss various topics. For fitness, there is a huge gym on the college campus. The hostels also provide good hygienic foods and they also offer different items for both the nonvegetarian and vegetarian. There are lots of PG and rented rooms near the college. To get admission to the college hostel the student must show the annual income to the authority for the admission.

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
