- The steep inclination that you need to walk to get to anywhere within the university
- The lack of elevators and stairs everywhere
Remarks :
The university takes pride in its research work and recently celebrated 100+ patents in its name. The location, also, played an important role in the selection. But on the other end, the labs aren't very efficient and if you have any respiratory or joint problems, the daily up and down via the steep inclination which happens to be the only path through the college is going to take a toll on you. But apart from that, the academics, hostel, and aesthetics are satisfactory
Course Curriculum Overview :
A Master's with biotechnology research seemed the logical option to pursue after graduation. Almost all the faculties are doctorate holders with research and or teaching experience at reputed places. For most, I would say the teaching methodology is pretty hands-on Each semester has 2 midterms and 1 final term. I would say if you are attentive in class during the teaching, the exams are easy There are a few scholarships available like merit based on your graduation % and state domicile etc. They are all listed on the University website
Internships Opportunities :
Not yet but will soon apply for them in the 3rd semester so that I don't miss out on the academics. There are a lot of student exchange programs in partnership with Taiwan, Korea, etc which provide a stipend
Placement Experience :
Every October, the placement begins. To sit for placements, you'll have to register yourself for it a month or two beforehand specifying your dream company or package and they work to bring it to you Companies like Loreal, Bajaj, Trident, etc were recruiters and the highest package was for 13.7 L
Campus Life :
Moksh/Spring Fest is the biggest event of the year spanning 3-4 days in March The library is truly a gem. 24x7 open to students. Laptops and Kindles are available for a 6-day loan. And the number of books! Truly impressive. It's my favorite feature of the University. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors Both indoor and outdoor sports training and tournaments go on throughout the year There are a lot of clubs starting from literature clubs to fashion to LGBTQ to anime to animal lovers. If you are interested in something, you'll find a club for it Hostel food gets a 4 out of 5. You get 4 satisfactory meals a day, warm milk 4 times a week during dinner, and seasonal veggies too. There are regular and monthly updates on the food menu
