- Cleanliness in the college. The college is very clean here.
- Opportunity to explore more things. Faculties do not only try to mug you only in study. You will get extra time to discover yourself.
Dislikes
- Mess food is very bad and there are very less options for vegetarians.
- College is very small and less playgrounds.
Remarks :
I want to go to the CSE branch. According to my JEE mains rank, I was getting a CSE branch in this college. Another factor is that it is a good college, placement is also good and located in a nice city(BHUBANESWAR).
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have an interest in coding, and that's why I chose the CSE branch. The faculties are good. Some had done Mtech from IITs also. The semester exams are conducted every 1.5 months and the level of paper is good. For admission and fees for 1st semester, you need to pay around Rs 1,23,000, and for the rest semesters, the fee is 1,05,000. There is a scheme also, that Is a tuition fee waiver which will remove the tuition fee but it is for only Odiya students.
Placement Experience :
Placements are good in this college. For big companies, you should score more than 8 GPAs. Companies that come here are Zerodha, oracle, Infosys, Scalar, and Veritas. The highest package in the college Is 80 lakh and the average package is 12 lakh. The percentage of students getting placement varies on branches. The placement percentage of CSE students is 90% while that of CE is 92%.
Campus Life :
Campus life is good. One problem is that the college is located far away from the city so there are fewer facilities you get outside the college. All the basic things you will get outside the college and there is also a shop in the college. One thing I must say is that the college is very clean. In the hostels, you will get three bedrooms and one four bedrooms on each floor(for 1st years) and If you score a higher GPA, there is a separate hostel for scholars. Coming to societies, there are many societies in the college. The biggest of this college is " Advaita". It is one of the biggest fests in Odisha.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
