Likes
- Things I like about the campus is greenery of the campus even if the campus is small in comparison to other colleges in the city it is very well maintained.
- Things I like about the faculties is that the their way of teaching is literally so unique it's like that they a hack for solving every equation with ease. They always clear your doubts no matter what even off periods.
Dislikes
- The campus is a bit too small and should have had atleast 2-3 more canteens as the whole campus has only one canteen and one cafe.
- Faculties here are really so tight with hands when we talk about providing marks in the examination that some times it feels they are trying to show that this college is a iit of some sort.
Remarks :
Education - BIT Durg (C.G.) is considered to be the top private institution in central India. This college was established way before any other private colleges in Chattisgarh, but BIT isn't really like any other private institute as BIT always tries to provide top-notch quality education. The syllabus gets updated every once in a while to have the students provided with education like no other. Admission Process - There are 2 ways you can get into this college 1st and the most common way is by giving the CGPET examination which stands for Chhattisgarh pre - engineering test, the exam consists of 150 maximum marks, which has 150 questions of 1 mark each of 50 questions in physics, chemistry & mathematics respectively you get seats as per your score in that. Another way is by giving jee mains and according to the rank, you can get a seat in this college as well. The cut-off for CSE for Generals is around 90-100 on average by this you can judge the cut-off criteria.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Syllabus & Facilities- The syllabus here is very well updated as per the international standards & you won't find yourself complaining about the studies and proxies here in BIT as there are nearly no free periods to waste your time. 75% The facilities also are well educated with Ph.D. in their hand, their teaching skills are top notch and they always try to provide you with quality education by clearing your doubts no matter what. Exams - The semester consists of 2 class tests of (40 & 60 marks each) and an end-of-semester examination of ( 100 marks ). the difficulty isn't that hard as an average student can clear these exams even with the night before exam preparation. But the faculties here have their hands tight with the marks.
Internships Opportunities :
Talking about the internships you don't need to worry about that as there are offers of so many internships day to day to make you ready for your dream job. But the internships that college provides you are the ones that come in the 3 semesters which will help you to have a clear understanding of your field and make you an expert at your job even before the placements.
Placement Experience :
The placements here are average nothing too extravagant, if you are good at studies and have the dedication to building your future career you can have a chance to secure a place in a good company. The college tries its best to get the top students to get their dream job from their side.
Campus Life :
You don't need to worry about having a companion nonetheless in this college as if you are a hosteler you won't feel lonely in any way because of the unity which we show to each other. Campus - The size of our campus is a bit smaller in comparison to the newer pvt. colleges but it is sufficient as it takes a walk of a few minutes from one block to another. The infrastructure is a combination of both modern and old features with lush gardens that surround the main building and trees all around the campus. Clubs - There are many clubs such as astronomy, NSS, NCC, clicks club, and many more to make you an expert in your field of interest. Hostel - a hostel fee is around 40000 for a semester which includes mess charges. The hostel campus is the biggest in all of Chattisgarh and is provided with stadiums, a gym, a badminton court, and many more activity centers.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

Placement Experience :
From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
