- The hospital is good and faculty is also good.
- Teachers focus a lot on your clinical skills and regular classes are conducted

- The campus is small and we don't have a very huge fest like other colleges
- College to hospital distance is around 15 min which can be a headache sometimes
Remarks :
For entering into a medical college you have to take the NEET UG exam conducted every year. According to your rank you're alloted a college. In every state 75% is for the state and 25% for the centre. Students with state domicile can get GDMC at 600 whole for centre it is around 620. Cut off keeps on changing according to the difficulty level.GDMC is one of the best medical colleges in Uttarakhand. As if lies in Dehradun the patient influx is good which is a very important factor when it comes to choosing a medical college. The faculties are also good and teaching is good in college as well the hospital. The labs are also well equipped. The only drawback is campus is small.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Being a Doctor is itself a very honorable thing. The best part of medical college is that practicing doctors are your professors so you learn from their experiences. Coming to exams 2 terminals, pre proff and a final proff exam is conducted every year.
Internships Opportunities :
Everyone has to complete the internship of year and you're paid 17k per month for it. After this you get permanently registered as a Doctor. In internship you learn alot of new skills that a Dr should know.
Placement Experience :
You've to complete 1 year internship for getting permanently registered as a Doctor. The internship is done at Doon hospital and you'll be paid ?17000 per month. After this you become a register Medical Practitioner.
Campus Life :
The campus is not very huge. Hostels are provided where 4 students share 1 room in the beginning and as you become a senior the number of roommates decrease. The hostel good is not very good. Library and reading area is available where you can study in silence. In medical colleges usually co curricular activities aren't conducted a lot. We've an annual fest Fornix, sports fest Phoenix and a cricket league is also conducted every year.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
