Likes
- The campus is well maintained with proper facilities including transport, shops and highly maintained classrooms.
- The campus is very vast providing all the required facilities to their students so that it help to feel them that CU is their second home
Dislikes
- The only thing which I dislike about my campus is the hostel timings for girls
Remarks :
In Chandigarh University they take an exam cut the basis of which they provide scholarships and help students to get admissions with the help of proper offline as well as online counseling based on the preference of the student.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I have an interest in business. Chandigarh University provides the best placement and is well well-graded and maintained University that helps students go achieve their dreams. All the staff is very friendly and supportable. Exams are taken thrice in a semester as MST1, MST2, EST, and project evaluations. There are various types of scholarships available here. The fee structure is also affordable as compared to other private universities. To maintain scholarship students need to maintain a GPA of 7.5 or above.
Placement Experience :
On seeing the previous record of Chandigarh University they are more than 800 companies which arrived here for placements. The highest package offer to a student is above 1 crore and almost 90% students get placed at of level organisations.
Campus Life :
Campus life is overall good. There are a lot of events that take place every day weekly monthly or yearly depending on the type of events. They encourage us to participate more and more to enhance our skills other than academics. There are hostels available for students where the students are provided with the best leaving facilities, four times meals, and proper security.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
