- Infrastructure- infrastructure of this College is good, it may not be that big but it's clean and everything is available.
- Location- this College is located in heart of Durg Bhilai city so everything is available nearby.
Dislikes
- Placement- if someone is looking for good placements after B.com then it's not a good place to be.
- Teaching style is not that good, as B.com curriculum is very lengthy and teaching style of professors is also not that great.
Remarks :
There were no interview or written test for admission as long as one is PCM or Commerce 10+2 they are eligible to get admission. Most information can be found on College website or one can visit College for admission queries they are very keen to help.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose B.com as B.com is a vast field from which one can choose Marketing, Finance or Accounting. As i wasn't sure which field I want to go I choose B.com to explore different fields. In this College of final year one can choose specialization in eithey Finance, Accounting or Marketing. B.com is not that tough to crack but it requires in-depth knowledge, internal exams were timely held, before final exams there was model exams and also monthly tests were conducted. Professors are keen to teach you but I would rate their teaching style average. Talking about B.com curriculum so B.com is sort of boring as it consists of Finance Accounting and Auditing, which means its all about calculation, numbers and theories.
Internships Opportunities :
No internship opportunity is given to B.com students from this College. As this course is considered foundational course and most students opt for masters after B.com so no internship is given. Also there is no culture of internship in this College.
Placement Experience :
In this College most students do not get any campus placements as few small sized companies come for placements and also it's because of B.com course as this course is not considered good for job as this course is foundational course. Most students go for masters or competitive exams after this course. In year 2021 there were only 5 small companies that came for placement and salary offered were around 10-15k. I went for CA course.
Campus Life :
The college campus is not that big or small compared to tier 2 city like Durg. People here are friendly and as most students come from other cities everyone is friendly and welcoming. Coming to clubs and social groups there are various clubs a student can join according to their taste. There is a good sized library and all amenities like are present in college campus also there is a template in Campus. Talking about hostel there are girls hostel in front of College campus. As far as fest are concerned there is a massive fest held every year that is in technical campus of Shankaracharya which is nearby. Also there are many festivals held every year like Holi, Annual function , freshers and farewell apart from all this there are many small competition and activities that are held throughout the year.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
